Prohibitions; penalties


(1)

A person may not:Make a false or fraudulent statement in any application, affidavit, or statement presented to the board or in any proceeding before the board.Practice orthotics, prosthetics, or pedorthics without a license or registration issued pursuant to this part unless otherwise exempt.

(a)

(2)

A person who violates any provision of this section commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
