Duties of Rural Workforce Services Program

(1)

Slow down out-migration of untrained rural residents to the state’s overcrowded large metropolitan centers.

(2)

Improve the economic status of the impoverished rural residents.

(3)

Provide present and new industry with the workforce training resources necessary for them to train the untrained rural workforce toward gainful employment.

(4)

Develop rural workforce programs that will be evaluated, planned, and implemented through communications and planning with appropriate:Departments of state and federal governments.Agencies and organizations of the public and private sectors at the state, regional, and local levels.
